Provisions related to electromechanical equipment:
1.0.2 all kinds of new, expanded and reconstructed buildings and municipal projects in areas with seismic fortification intensity of 6 and above must be seismic fortified, and the survey, design, construction, use and maintenance of engineering projects must comply with this specification.
5.1.12 the non structural members and auxiliary electromechanical equipment of the building, their own and the connection with the main body of the structure, should be seismic fortification.
5.1.16 the auxiliary equipment of the building shall not be set at the position that may cause secondary disasters such as its dysfunction; The auxiliary equipment that needs to work continuously under the fortification earthquake shall be set at the part with small seismic response of the building structure.
5.1.17 the holes of pipes, cables, ventilation pipes and equipment shall be set to reduce the weakening of main load-bearing structural members; Reinforcement measures shall be taken at the edge of the hole. The connection between pipes and equipment and building structures shall have sufficient deformation capacity to meet the needs of relative displacement.
5.1.18 the base or support of the electromechanical equipment attached to the building, as well as the relevant connectors and anchors, shall have sufficient stiffness and strength to transmit all the seismic effects borne by the equipment to the building structure.
In the building structure, the parts used to fix the embedded parts and anchors of the auxiliary electromechanical equipment of the building should be strengthened to bear the seismic action transmitted by the auxiliary electromechanical equipment to the main structure.
From the contents of the above articles, it is required that the connection between equipment and pipelines and building structures should be seismic fortification, and the base or support and related connectors and anchors should have sufficient stiffness and strength, without emphasizing the installation of "seismic supports and Hangers"
In other words, during the design and construction, the foundation or support of electromechanical equipment and pipelines can consider the seismic force, and the so-called "anti-seismic supports and Hangers" do not need to be installed.
When the general code for seismic design of building and municipal engineering gb55002-2021 was issued, the mandatory provisions of code for seismic design of building electromechanical engineering gb50981-2014 were abolished:
1.0.4 building Electromechanical Engineering in areas with seismic fortification intensity of 6 and above must be designed for seismic resistance.
5.1.4 anti seismic supports and hangers shall be used for smoke control duct, emergency ventilation duct and related equipment.
7.4.6 the common antenna set on the roof of the building shall take safety measures to prevent the equipment or its parts from falling and injuring people after being damaged by the earthquake.
The so-called "anti-seismic supports and Hangers" are upgraded to "anti-seismic engineering" in the exposure draft; It is incomprehensible that the support is only a part of pipeline installation, which has been raised to engineering.
